Before its creation most of the children of Olowogbowo that finished their Junior secondary education were sent to other zones like Epetedo, Isale-Eko, Lafiaji, Okesuna and Popo Aguda (Campus Area).
The schools under other zones include Isale-Eko Senior Grammar School, Epetedo Senior Grammar School, Dolphin Senior High School, King Ado, Eko Akete, Ebute Elefun, Okesuna and Lafiaji.
These schools were located far from Olowogbowo area.
The school commenced the training of students in the 2016/2017 academic session with Dr. Rasheedat Salisu as the Pioneer Principal and Mr. Ibekwe as the Vice Principal. They were later joined by Mr. Ekemode Akeem as the Vice Principal (Academics).
The current Principal, who was transferred to the school on 9th January, 2018 is Mr. S. O. Kazeem from Okesuna Senior High School.
Mr. Lawal, Abdulwahab Babatunde, former Vice Principal of Epetedo Senior High School, was also transferred to the school in January, 2018. He is now the Vice Principal (Administration).
