Mr. Bello, Hakeem Olumide, a Biology teacher from Ilado Community Secondary School, Osborne Road, Ikoyi, has been sent to the school.
Mr. Bello reported on Tuesday 25th September, 2018 with his letter of transfer.
He was happily welcomed by the Principal, Mr. S. O. Kazeem, who quickly sent for the two Vice Principals, Mr. Lawal and Mr. Oyekan to join in the welcome party.

On Wednesday the new SSS 1 students for the 2018 /19 Academic Session began their orientation.
The exercise, which was led by the Vice Principal (Administration), Mr. A. B. Lawal had the Vice Principal (Academic), Mr. Oyekan, T. M., Mrs. Eye (HOD Science), the Year Tutor SSS 1, Mrs. Oshineye, O. K. as well as the Principal, Mr. S. O. Kazeem, around to advise the students how their new life.
Among other things, the students were guided on how to choose their subjects combinations, study and attendance in school and in the classrooms.
The rules and regulations of the school were also read out with the belief that with this knowledge the students would be able to live a peaceful and successful life in the new school.
This is to welcome the new students to the school.
The Vice Principal (Academic), Mr. Ekemode, O. H. has been transferred to Dolphin Senior High School, Lagos Island with immediate effect.
It would be recalled that Mr. Ekemode was transferred to the school in 2017 from Tarkwa Bay. He assumed duty as the Vice Principal.
During his stay in the school, Mr. Ekemode served as the Physics, Mathematics and Further Mathematics teachers in addition to his administrative duty.
The management staff, teachers and students of the school wish Mr. Ekemode good health, God's enduring grace and protection and a happy stay in his new school.
The Time-Table for the 2018/19 Academic Session for the Mock/Promotion Examination for the SSS 2 students that are going to SSS 3 is already out.
From the time-table, the examination will commence with the Biology Practical exam which will hold on Wednesday 12th September, 2018. It will be followed by other Practical examinations like Physics, Chemistry and Agricultural Science.

Today marks the beginning of the 2018/19 academic session in Lagos State.
Like other public and private schools in the state, our school, Elegbata Senior High School, Elegbata, Lagos Island, is back in session.
At the opening assembly the Principal, Mr. S. O. Kazeem, welcomed the students to the school.
In his opening session with the students, Mr. Kazeem counselled the students that failed and are to repeat to prepare themselves for a better academic year this time. He pointed to the fact that failure should not be seen as the end.
Mr. Kazeem recalled his own story while in secondary school. He pointed to the fact that he too repeated Form 5 (the equivalent of SSS 3 now). He said repeating a class gave him an advantage in life because he developed everlasting attitude towards learning, reading and studying for examinations. This habit, he reiterated, helped him at the College of Education and the University later in life.
He also called on the students that gained promotion to see it as an opportunity to work harder and never relent in their study.
The help of the promoted students was also sought for the repeaters by the Principal who enjoined the promoted students to show love, friendship and understanding for their friends who are to repeat.
Finally, the Principal called on the SSS 2 students who will be starting their Mock/Promotion Exam in a few days to get themselves ready for the crucial examination. He said that whoever fails would be asked to repeat the class as only the good and qualified ones will be promoted.
With the transfer of Mr. Ekemode, O. H. to Dolphin Senior High School, a new Vice Principal has been transferred to the school.
The new Vice Principal is Mr. OYEKAN, Tajudeen Mobolaji, the former Vice Principal of Dolphin Senior High School.
The funny thing is that Mr. Oyekan is a graduate of Physics like the former VP.
The Principal, Mr. S. O. Kazeem, has welcomed the new VP to the school.
This is to announce that the new 2018-19 Academic Session will begin on Monday 10th September, 2018.
On resumption day all the students are expected to be around because the SSS 2 students are starting their Mock/ Promotion Exam on 17th September, 2018.
